Quote from: tlhdocUnless it is a straight shot from the toilet to the tank, I would expect that the toilet paper and solid waste would clog/get stuck in the hose.  On a RV the black water tank is under the toilet and the solids break down from the chemicals used in the tanks.  The back water tank is drained and then the lines are rinsed with the water from the grey water tank.  Unless you plan on using a lot of water I think there will be many clogs.:)

The holding tank on my boat was connected to the toilet by a 2" waste water hose. The marine waste water hose is designed so that the waste moves easily and the smell doesn't penetrate it. I don't see how the holding tank in the camper would be any different. It would be a very short run. However it would take some water to move the waste. The aft cabin head on my boat had a run of about 15' to the 30 gallon holding tank. The forward head had a 10' run to a separate 25 gallon holding tank. In 14 years, I never had a problem.

The thing that I would have to work out would be some sort of a quick disconnect. I think that could be done in conjunction with a gate valve, like I have on my porta-potty.

HMMMMMM!! this is all getting sorta convoluted :eyecrazy: . Maybe a permanent holding tank with a separate, portable tank would be the best way.

Heck, I just wanta go camping......I don't wanta live in that darn thing :p .
