Are you kidding! GrizzlyTaco had more stuff in his pop-up than I do in my 27' travel trailer for crying out loud !!!!  LOL

As much as I hate to addmit it, The Vikings right, we took wayyyyyyy to much stuff. As for SPUT's, yes we had a couple. Dont laugh Brian !!!

1) When we first got to the campground around 12:30 Friday we were the first ones there. I thought, great i'll get set up early. When we backed into our spot and were about to unhook from the TV, I went to put the wheel on the tongue jack, i thought i had the wheel on all the way and put the pin in, when we pulled the TV away the tounge dropped and the wheel came off. I guess I didn't have it on right, when i went to put the wheel back on the pin wouldn't fit, the shaft bent when it came off. We looked for something to put under the tongue jack but couldn't find anything sturdy. So we drove to town until we came across K-Mart where I bought 1 single block to hold up the trailer. We didn't start to even set up the PU until 2:30, what a mess, by then the winds were up to 45 miles per hour, I know The Viking who was next to us had to be getting a good laugh from this, he showed up around 2:00.

2) On Sunday it started out as a nice day, but the winds picked up and it cooled off so the wife and I thought we should take the kids out for dinner and a movie, we returned to the campground around 7:30pm, when we pulled up the gate was locked. We decieded to just pull the car over to the side of the road next to a sign that read NO Parlking Anytime. I thought i would pick it up early morning and explain what happened. Anyway, as we were getting ready to start walking back to our camp site a guy named Keith who was getting ready to leave the campground saw us and stopped before driving over the tire steaks that let you out, but cant drive over again without popping your tires. Anyway he said there was a code to the lock on the gate, he tried it several times and it wouldn't work, so he gave us a ride to camp, he dropped us off in front of Freedom5's camp where everyone was sitting in front of the fire, talk about embarrasing, I knew i would have some explaining to do to everyone. So we just decieded to sit and forget what happened and enjoy the fire and shoot the S@*%t with everyone, after about 1/2 hour went by Brian noticed a truck came through, and we wondered how he got in, so I went to the guys camp and knocked on his rig door, I know i startled him that late at night, He told me he used the code to get in, he said it was the same code we had, but when you enter the code you have to push up on the lock then pull down, it was a spring loaded lock. Brian drove me over there and the first time I tried it, it worked. I was thinking at that time what else could go wrong.

This being our first trip ever in our New PU, we had high winds, rain, snow, and late night FREEZING weather, I wouldn't wish this on any newbie!! HaHa
Even despite all this, the SSCampers helped us to have a Great Time, Thank You All,..........Grizzlytaco

P.S. Its OK to laugh, We are!!!!        :sombraro:

When I saw you guys with coats on I had to laugh!! Ours temps here reached a balmy 35 deg today and I went outside without a coat and uncovered my PU. Cant wait to get on the move myself and head to the woods. Anyways, I love that Jayco. The floor plans look identical to mine and there's only a few external differences. Ive had 3 seasons of camping with mine without any problems and you'll find the Jayco company with one of the best customer service depts in the biz. ( No I dont work there...but I do live near the factory)..ENJOY!!!
ps. Nice pics...looks like a fun group to hang out with...
