Oceanside Campout June 2-4

To all who are going to Oceanside; our contribution to the sat. breakfast potluck will be bacon! It will only be me & Theresa this time. Trina has to work!
I hope that no one has any break down's along the way.

We passed by Bakersfield twice this past weekend and will do it again a week from Friday as we head back to the moutain house. Lots of water in the Kern. The Kings River is the highest I've ever seen it. They have sandbags piled up so the river doesn't get in the campground at Riverland. Also saw the San Joaquinn, Merced and Tuolumne at very high levels.

Ooohhh ... that means that Yosemite's falls should be looking pretty ... pretty when we get there!  Don't know what I'm more excited about - tomorrow or the end of the month.  

Just packed the PUP with fridge stuff & my car with my stuff.  Just have to hustle home tomorrow, get the dog, hook up & we're off!  I'll be there before 2:00.  AND I'll remember to back into my site.    Gonna try the bunk-end covers for the first time.  Hopefully they won't be too frustrating ...

Have fun, you all!!!  Now I remember why I lagged on making reservations---my school is having a dance Friday night...and as a teacher, I should make an appearance.  

I have been bugging Bran about going down on Saturday....but, he has a morning function to attend, and then his friend is umping the 1st base line at the CIF finals this that night.  So, no bonfire for us.   :%  Eh, I think I will work on report cards this weekend...get those babies done!

Well...........Unfortunately it looks like we will have to bow out.  Three things popped up and two we can't get out of for Friday and Sunday.  I am extremely bummed.  I so was looking forward to getting together with everyone again.  I guess it won't be until Pismo......

Well. I bought food last night and will pack up everything tonight. Tomorrow I'll take Paula to work and slip home to mow the lawn and then pick her up for lunch and then hit the road jack.

What a fitting last post........I went to pick up some parts and some guy wiped out the entire right side of my car......one end to the other :eyecrazy: .

I may not be able to make it to the camp-out now. I'll have to get my witts about me and take a good look at the car......and see what I feel like. I'm kinda bumbed right now .
