Quote from: dthurkI LIKE that combination. Wow. Does the tow vehicle have a 4 cylinder engine? Looks like it might be a real gas saver. But, could I have something a little larger? Maybe with 3 axles instead of 2? After all, we are a growing family. Oh, and I'd like to see the tow vehicle in a sky blue. And with that bigger 5'er, I might have to upgrade to the 2.5 liter engine. Thanks.

Unfortunetly, according to my dealer this is a prototype and the only one available at this time.  It does have a 4 cylinder, but it runs on Dilithium Crystals so it has close to 400HP and still maintains 47MPG while pulling the trailer.  At least That's what the dealer told me. I haven't picked it up yet but I'm sure he wouldn't steer me wrong.  He told they will not sell a trailer to someone that does not have a TV that can tow it safely.

So am I!  I thought the dilithium crystal reference was pretty cool.  Didn't know that warp engines came in 4 cylinder models, though.

No, that's not what it means Kelly, it means I couldn't think of anything else to say.

That tow vehicle "prototype" looks a lot like a '74 Hornet. I think the '74 could tow that rig, but I'm not sure about the '75. I think they changed the gear ratio in '75, and that reduced its towing capacity. I recommend you check your owner's manual to be sure about this one.

 ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

The ford pinto as a TV would be a real joke.If you want a "real" TV I have a rare chevy vega for sale that I think would be much better........ It's a bargain too,all it needs is some cast iron liners pressed into the block and it would be as good as "new"! Signed,Mr.Haney

Brain did you talk to the service manger at the dealership?  You really should in case you have any problems with the new rig.  His name is Scotty and he makes a fuss at times, but always get the RV through the tough spots just in the nick of time.:)

Brian, bring that TV down here, we'll fit a chevy 454 with a blower in it, that should give you some towing power!! Remember, where theres a will, there's a way!!!
