See through vinyl windows in the bunkends (the box of the PU has), so that on cold, hot, rainy, windy, etc. days you can see outside.  I would also like the fridge just inside the door on the curb side of the PU so you can access it easily when the PU is closed.:)

With drawers and more/larger windows!  Out Starcraft Hybred doesn't have any drawers!!!

A better entrance door.  And light weight abs cabinet constuction instead of the heavier particle board that can never get wet, moisture, or a drop of anything on it or it will swell up and deteriorate(sp.).

I have already thought of that Ed.  I was thinking of a way to incorporate a kegerator and have a detactable tapper that comes out of the side of the TT on the side that the awning is on.

Recumbentman

How about being able to have your sink and stove top slide thru an opening in the PU to the outside (would have to be on the crubside) and have a basement door thru the floor into a storage area that is no deeper than the water tank.

In our hybrid i would like to see a dresser/cabinet instead of the large box cabinet by the door, was thinking of changing that out myself, easier to put clothes and stuff away in draws.

I'm with Traci...see through vinyl windows in the bunkends would be terrific!   A clear plastic/vinyl on the front door would be nice too!  Higher backs on the U-shaped couch.....  and a slide out table section in my current Mesa setup.

A button to fold the wheels under (ala Back To The Future II), and lower the camper down so the frame is on the ground.  Not so important with hybrids - but some of those 5th wheels now have 3-4 steps to get into them!

I'd like to see a little more counter space.  Although doable, another 6 inches of counterspace would be great.

Also would like to see one or two more electrical outlets around the camper. I have four of them but some not located where I would like them.

Some sort of bar or tray to help keep the dishes, glasses etc in place better when travelling.

How about a foldout footstool on the couch?

Easy connect for the tv cable instead of having to struggle with the nut to get it together.

Thermostat controlled a/c so the fan will shut off.

In spite of all these improvements, I still love the hybrid.

This one is an easy mod. Buy some clear vinyl, I bought it at Wal-Mart, and a roll of sticky back Velcro. Cut the vinyl to fit the window and the outside edge of the window frame. Leave the Velcro stuck to itself and stick it on the window frame. Now peal the backing off of the other side of the Velcro (which is stuck to the window frame) and carefully attach the clear vinyl to the Velcro. Now you have a removable clear window. Leave it sit for at least a day before you try removing the clear window, so the glue on the Velcro has time to cure. I got the basic idea from Hersheygirl and made a few changes to it.:)

Friend of mine checked it out when we were camping ... she liked it so much she went to WalMart, got all the supplies and made one for her TT at the campground!

if I was a designer I would ... hmmmm I would ..... um I would .... huh.  My PU is darn near perfect!   ;)

There are some neat pics here.  Thanks.  I looked through the rest of the pics in this album.  Seems as though the campfire was the main character on this trip.  I wonder why.

Perfect door mod...that one I'm going to have to do!  :)  We love having as much light as possible coming in the camper...it's one reason I had to get rid of my TT several years ago. I just love an open feeling.
