We may, just may, have a weekend without obligations on April 21 (Friday) -23 (Sunday) (the weekend after Easter) and we're thinking of taking a little trip in the pop up out to Temecula.  We've got to check our calendars one more time to make sure, but if we're clear, we're going.  Anyone else in the mood to go camping?

We may be interested.  We might be camping at William Heise earlier in the month if everything works out (if dh gets home early enough from his training) and again the last weekend of the month.  So what if we camp  2-3x in a month, we are making payments on our trailer so we have to use it.  Let us know if you're going so we can make reservations.

I only wish we could have an unimcumbered weekend...Heather our daughter is having an implant put in her spine to help with the pain.  next Tuesday 3/21, where she can't twist, bend or lift  Recovery is 6 weeks. ...and I am having shoulder surgery April 14 for torn rotator.  it never rains but it pours in our lives.  Hopefully in a little while we will be healthy so that we can camp again.  I had to postpone my surgery because of the William Heise campout....we do have our priorities! Camp until you drop...Not sure how many of our family will be able to go but will keep our findgers crossed..For anyone out there that would like to say a prayer for Heather on Turesday, for a good outcome please do..She has been suffering for so long...We hope this will be an answer.  This is her 5th surgery on her back and Bryan and the kids need her. I don't want to sound like a whiner but we are all really tired.

Sue,

Heather, Bryan, you and all of your family definitely have our prayers. Hang in there and remember, if He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it!

I just got off the phone with Vail Lake in Temecula. They have two big groups booked that weekend taking up all of Chardonnay Mesa and Arroyo Seco so there are very few sites left in the Oaks.

We'll be coming in on Thursday evening, April 20th, and staying until Sunday morning, April 23rd. We are in site 158. Other sites open around us as of 10:30 this morning are 155-157, and 159-161. If you want to camp with us the weekend after Easter, don't wait too long! :)

Vail Lake Resort's number for reservations is: 951-303-0173 It is $50.00/night--full hook ups. Their Web site is www.vaillakeresort.com

ETA: Hey Brian!! I just noticed your birthday is that weekend. How about a little birthday celebration weekend in Temecula? :! We can have Dee bake a :cake: ( :J That's a good one!)

ETA: Fixed the link to VLR's Web site.  Sorry for the typo!

Well, I've done did it, too.  I'll be in site 159 from Thursday-Saturday (Sat. eve. obligations & last night of vacation).  Hope that's okay with you, Lori.   :D   Don't think I'll have a new hybrid yet, though ...

We're in 156. We'll come in Friday late afternoon and leave Sunday. Gee that makes 3 weekends we'll be out of town. 2 camping and 1 in Colorado.

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you guys are in!!!

We definitely won't have a hybrid by then either, but I've got the guy I work with interested in buying our pop up, so if I sell it after this trip, then we'll have to buy something for Oceanside. ;)   Then again, Dave may have a say about all of this....

We're a long ways from any other rig.

Well, in reality, we may be as well.  Dave doesn't want to commit to anything until I am able to negotiate a permanent position with the legal publishing company for whom I'm currently working.  Right now, I'm an independent contractor with a six-month contract, and I won't have a feel for the timing of any permanent position for another couple of weeks or so, at the earliest.

I'm SOOO glad you'll be there!  I think someone from our group's in 157 -- that's what the Vail Lakes person said.  Don't remember who she said, but whoever's there asked to be next to you, Lori!  :)  So, whoever it is, speak up!!

This will be the first time I've had the PUP out since Campland ... wow.  LOTS of life has happened since then!
