No Power on Battery

You want to keep in mind the fact that in order for there to be a difference in voltage between two points there must be an IR drop(I for current R for resistance) I times R equal volts.Since the only current being drawn while measuring voltage is that of the voltmeter(very very small) the resistance must be very very high.Could be poor conection but most likely a broken wire.When My system is working off of the battery the converter is out of the picture.If your coverter stays in the loop it could be a fried diode or resistor.The best advice you have been given is to try running new wires and see if the IR drop goes away

I picked up some marine wire on the way home from work.  One way or another I'll replace it, either inside the frame, or outside the frame. I tried pulling it from one end (the other end had a bit of slack), but it didn't budge.
