Hmmm...

Your trailer is not particularly heavy, and your tow vehicle is not a toy, so you should be OK.  The workmanship from here looks great.

But before folks go running to copy this, remember:

* A longer hitch receiver means a higher effective tongue weight.  The lever is longer now.
* Adding a bike rack and bikes also increases the tongue weight.

I suspect this could kill someone with an already marginal setup.

Really?  Why do you say that?  OH you're speaking of someone else....maybe I should preface this Mod with this:

He copied specs from one that is commercially sold. He is a machinist and tool and dye maker...he works with higher tolerances than this little number.  Aluminum forging company produces Aerospace technology, motorcycle racing, and not to mention rims.  All of which he has done.

2 views of a commercially sold one.

We found this after the mod...you can get it there, we paid $25 :p

Okay, I'll confess. When I first saw this hitch, I thought; "So what? It's the Northern Tool Duel Hitch with a few extra holes". LMAO. Then I realized that you guy's built the thing! Cool. We used the commercially available one for several years with no problems. Yes, the bar is longer and, yes, it reduces the tongue capicity but even with the reduction, we were still within limits. We use a roof rack on our current camper to take the bikes so the duel hitch is no longer needed.

Nice job!

I think AB was making a very valid point, and in no way degrading the great job that was done on this mod.

The statement "I suspect this could kill someone with an already marginal setup" should be taken into account for anyone looking at this.  PITPOP27, while your TV/PUP combination will easily handle this type of drawbar extension there are many folks out there who push the envelope.

I think many of us who have been around the boards for many years are just a little careful with comments that may lead a casual reader astray.
