Can anyone give me some advice on swapping out my 03 Westlake tires and rims for the new style aluminum ones? Mine are starting to rust and I wont paint them. The local dealer wants 141.75 a pc (rim and tire) plus ship and tax. A little steep I thought. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way our baby is in the shop now getting the roof replaced. Cant wait.

I don't know if JC Whitney has the aluminum rims, but that is where I purchased my new tires/rims and they had a good price.  I would check there.  If they don't have them I would contact Duro.  They should be able to direct you to someone selling what you want.:)

Make sure they are designed for trailer use. Most passenger car rims have an offset (the spacing of the center in respect to the rim. Trailer wheels are always zero offset (the center is in the middle of the rim width.

Can't remember the number of folks over the years that bought car rims to use on a trailer an found out they interfered.

One reason the Fleetwood dealers pricing is so dear is that they buy wheel tire combinations only from the factory. That's all the factory uses so that's all they sell. So you have to buy the tire with the rim from a dealer, not to mention the dealer markup.
A search on the net will give you several sources of wheels only at a much lower price.

When using aluminum rims, be sure to regularly check the tighness of the lug nuts. They loosen quicker than with steel rims. My BIL lost a tire due to the lug nuts coming loose without his knowledge.
