I don't know of a specific model off the top of my head, but I have been asked the question several times while I sold RVs and I am aware of what several folks in wheelchairs have done to use RVs.

1) Have two wheelchairs, one outside the RV and a smaller, more compact one inside the RV.

2) If possible, use crutches or other means of movement once inside the RV, because the wheelchair was really too large for easy movement, especially with several people.

3) One gentleman I was showing RVs to, who had no use of his legs, preferred to leave the wheelchair out of camper, and move around with his hands and arms on the floor.  He also got out of the rear seat of a 2 door Ford Escort unassisted, other than for his wife who got the wheelchair out of the trunk.

Hope this helps.  I suppose a popup could be modified with a wider door and with a ramp (very steep).  Seems like if it is not made, that a place that modifies vans for wheelchair lifts would be able to do any door mods, etc. desired.

Fleetwood did make a pop up for a few years that was designed for a wheelchair.  IIRC the model name was an "Evergreen".  I just did a google search and couldn't find any right now.

I thought I saw an ad a couple of years ago that Viking had a wheelchair accessible model.  You might try their site.

That was the name of the Coleman camper that was wheelchair accessible.  I think they made it in 1993, I know it was around the time I started looking at PUs.:)

Ok they made the Evergreen in 1992. Here is a link that has one indoor photo and one outdoor photo of the trailer with the ramp extended. I hope this helps.:)

We purchased our 1993 Coleman Evergreen from a family where the dad was in a wheelchair.  The door is 32 inches wide and the ramp is 42 inches wide.  Although nobody in our family uses a wheelchair, we have thoroughly enjoyed the wide door and step.  We took it in to be serviced last month and the manager said that this was the first one he has seen in his eleven years.  Needless to say, they are out there though.  He said if it was on his lot he would be selling it for about $3000-$3500.  Good luck!

A few years back I saw a gentleman who had a regular wheelchair outside his PUP, but inside or at the entry, he had a modified step stool ... it had wheels and a U-bar welded to the back of the stool, and he used this to enter the PUP and get around inside.  It was narrow enough for him to get out the door - had a portable platform at the entry for transfer to his regular wheelchair.

We were camping and a family had a child in a wheelchair.
They were camping in a Toyhauler, so the child was able to use the rear loading door to enter and exit the trailer no problem

We're running a small piece in the next issue about Viking RV who has modified quite a few campers for challenged campers. Contact me at 800-398-8893 during the day and I'll give the contact info for Viking's top guy.
