camping fix needed

We just got in our first trip, this past weekend.  Boy  did it feel good, even if it rained....rain and more rain!

 9 Days till the next outing. It'll most likely take that long to clean up all the mud that was tracked in.

I want/need to go camping too.  I want to go this weekend, but DS doesn't.  We are camping the next 2 weekends so I don't want to make DS go.  Maybe I can bribe him.

We are leaving on May 25th for the Memorial Day Weekend to meet some friends that are full-timers.  CAN'T WAIT, got the bug also.  It will be our maiden voyage with our new to us 5th Wheel.

I'm going camping tomorrow!!!  We have reservations for a lake view site - not lakefront, but there is no site across the road so we have a great view of the lake.  I can't wait!

This Saturday we are going to feed our camping jones and go to the Vintage Vacations Rally open house at Newport Dunes...it's a great chance to check out some really nice classic rigs.  http://www.vintage-vacations.com/home.html

And at last, we are finally camping again at Flying Flags (central California) for Memorial Day weekend.  Yeeeehaaaa! We're on the road again...can't wait.

We're watching the news right now and they are looking for Jimmy Hoffa's body in Milford, Michigan...are you guys close to there?  My dh's brother used to live there...I wonder if Jimmy is in his old backyard!

It's about a 25 min ride down the freeway from us. It's pretty big news here. They say it's the most credible dig for Jimmy yet.  
I feel bad for the owners of the property and all their horses having to endure all this.

Talk about a camping fix - I had to open up the PU in the garage at 10pm last night to get a tarp for my oldest DS Boy Scout trip this weekend. (He was selected for Order of the Arrow - his Ordeal is this weekend).  Between his Boy Scouts and Babe Ruth baseball, my DD's travel softball team (go Storm!), and my youngest DS Little League baseball, we don't have a free weekend until August.  Every %^$%^$#@ day from now until then has some sort of event. :eyecrazy:  I think I'll get a beer, go into my garage, and talk to my PU.   I will then live vicariously through the rest of you.
