Just returned from our first trip in our Coleman Taos to Johnathan Dickenson.

First, gotta get a brake control.  I didn't really think we needed one, and for general stopping purposes, didn't, but, for the one emergency stop we had to make (had a car cut in front of me), I locked up the front wheels.  Luckly, we didn't slide out into the intersection or jacknife.

It was raining when we arrived at the site.  You cannot put one of these things up fast enough.

2 humans and 3 dogs of various sizes make for cramped camping.

The bugs didn't really affect me much, but ate up 'da 'pina wan (translation: the filipina one, pet name for my wife).  Guess they had their fill of domestic blood, but that exotic 'pina was a treat for 'em.

We pretty much enjoyed ourselves, I had built a Sat.dish stand outta 1 1/2 inch PVC so my wife would be able to watch TV.  I just pretty much just relaxed, had a few San Migs (Filipino beer) and just enjoyed not doing much and having all weekend to do it.  I will plan some menus for the next trip.  We brought way too much refrigerated/frozen food for the trip.

Sounds like you five had a great trip.  Life was made for camping trips

I would love to see pics of the dish stand you built.
