Well it a beautiful Wednesday morning and were packing the PU and leaving for Terribles in a few hours for an overnighter, my little one's get so excited when we go camping. I had hoped when we bought the PU that they would love the outdoors like my wife and I. I hope its something they will pass on to their children someday, but not too soon. Yesterday we went up to Mt. Charleston and we found some really nice and heavily wood campgrounds. There only around 2 hours from our house. The elevation is a little over 7000 feet so its nice and cool up there. Fletcher View Campground is the only one that has electrical hook-ups, no sewer or water on the sites, but there is a water station. I made reservations for the 4th thru the 6th of July, i will take some nice pics at this one. We'll  my break is over so i better go finish getting things loaded, chat with you later..........Ed  :U

We just got back from our overnighter, and we had a great time. The weather there was HOT, we used our AC for the first time and it works really well, good thing i had my solar covers on. We got there around 11:00, set-up camp, had some sandwiches we had taken for lunch, then we headed off for the pool for a few hours, that was cool and refreshing. We wound up going swimming again later in the day also, its just to Hot here in the dessert. At night it got to around 60* so it made for perfect sleeping weather. The next day my wife was starving so we went for breakfast at Terribles Casino before we broke down camp, all 4 of us had the breakfast buffet, the girls ate Free, 5 and under, and I had a 2 for 1 I had gotten when we checked into the RV Park. So we only paid $4.26 for all of our meals. The food was really good....We had no problems this trip, which is always a plus. If any of you come out this way i would highly recommend Terrible's RV Park, dont let the name fool you.........Ed  :sombraro:
