Yup, those were the days. My Grandfather installed carpet in the bathroom... Grandma really liked it so she had him install it all the way into the house.......

It's just an old shanty in our back yard
The seats are worn, their rough and their hard
There's a seat there for Maw
There's a seat there for Paw
There's one there for Sister, me and my Brother In Law
The Sears Roebuck catalog hangs on the wall
The pages are torn and it's cover is gone
Between the flies and the FLIT*, It's so hard to............SHAVE

* Back when I was a kid, FLIT was the trade name of a very well known fly and mosquito spray. It's petroleum base made it very oily and it had a sweet and often nausious smell.. It was applied with a hand operated pump sprayer [Flit gun] which often dripped  spray on the operator while it belched an oily fog into the air. Flits presence on an outhouse seat could cause an irritation to one's posterior and other related parts......
