Well it's Tuesday and I "think" we have done everything possible to make our TOUR USA trip a successful one. The TV has been cleaned inside and out including Armor All and a good paste wax. New tires, extra-extra tranny cooler, tranny temp gauge and the tranny fluid changed out. I also change the oil with Mobil One Extended Mileage Oil so I hope not to have to do it again until I return. New air filter and a newly installed cabin filter (the Escape didn't come with one). I also installed new front brake pads (super heavy duty Semi-Carbon) and new rotors. My Escape hasn't looked this good since I brought her home from the dealer.

I made a few modifications to our Santa Fe but nothing like some of you guys have done.

We leave on Thursday for a 5-6 week trip including Mackinaw City MI, Duluth, MN, Grafton, SD, Sioux Falls SD, Custer SD, Buffalo WY, Cody WY, YELLOWSTONE NP, Salt Lake City UT, ZION NP, North Rim GC, Cortez Co, Cripple Creek CO and then finally heading east with no reservations.

I just want to thank all you good people here on this forum that had answers to my many questions. I am sure you have made our trip more enjoying to us.

So I will be hanging out here until Wed night and come Thursday morning we cut across Ontario into MI. I really hope all of you have a great camping season.

Sounds like an awesome trip!  You are heading into some of the most beautiful areas of our country.  (Watch out for the wind in Buffalo WY)

Take good notes and give us a thorough trip report when you get back!

How exciting!!  I'm glad you spent some of your pre-trip with us.  Have a great trip, be safe, take lots of pictures, and come back and tell us some stories when you get back home. We'll keep the campfire stoked for you.
