Earliest camping memories...

For me it was when I was about 8years old and that was a very looooong time ago but I remember it like yesterday.....We were tent camping with my family and my Grandma we woke up and there was a very light rain.....My Mom and Grandma were making breakfast and my brothers were just being boys!  Dad was getting ready to go fishing....Nothing big happen just everytime I think about it I see a perfect family and remember the smells and the pure joy of being out in nature......Now if you ask my mother about this campout she'll have a much different memory.....Like the RAIN,The WET,The AIR MATTRESS GOING FLAT,TRYING TO KEEP FOOD WARM AND DRY,ETC....except for me it was a Norman Rockwell picture and a lasting memory.....carol
