Where can I find a faucet for my 2001 Coleman Taos?  I have the white plastic one that pumps for the tank and turns for city supply.

It has developed a leak at the base, found this out when I gave it a thorough cleaning the other day.  I just bought this camper this week.

I want to fix this so that we may use the water in the camper.  Called the dealer and was qouted $93.37 for a new one and well that's more than the budget allows right now.......

We would really like to go on our first trip next weekend so I have to get this fixed before next Saturday!

I know I have read that it can be replaced with one from Home Depot and places like that but I don't know which ones to look at - if you have one could you PLEASE share this information with me?

I don't anticipate needing the pump feature as the camper does not have a water tank....was a repo, no water tank, no LP tank, no battery....but everything else is there and is in great condition.

HELP!!!!!!

If you have no water tank and just want to run water from a hose hooked up to your camper, all you need is your basic water faucet.  The faucet that came with your camper is a manual diaphragm pump that actually pumps the water from the tank and out the spigot.  If you have no intentions of installing a water tank, I would just get the cheapest regular faucet you can find, hook the hose up to the faucet with a hose clamp, and viola.  Turn the handle one way and the water flows, turn it the other and it stops flowing.

I have an issue with my faucet where the pump does not generate enough pressure to open the valve and let the hose water flow.  After finding out the price on a replace ment, I've decided that this is what I'm going to do.

If you're looking to camp this weekend, get a faucet--maybe even a typical hose faucet, something that will let you turn the flow of water on and turn it off again and then when you have more time, install something permanent and make it look pretty at that time.

I had a leak on my faucet and all it needed was the hose clamp tightened.  Have you tried that or is it a crack in the faucet itself that is leaking?:)

It has a crack just above where the hose screws on.....

Shurflow doesn't make the faucet that came in your Toas anymore. They told me of another that will replace it though.

Take the old sink with you to Lowe's, Home Depot or appropriate big box hardware store in your area, and match up the hole(s) and get the appropriate connecting pieces (hose barbs, reducers, clamps, etc).  Like previously mentioned, if you don't have a water tank, then you don't need a sink that pumps.  When hooked up to a "city water" connection, your camper sink acts just like your sink at home.  Similarly a residential sink would work just fine.  You should be able to get something that would work for around $50 or less.

good luck

I replaced our facet with one from HD. I believe it was about $30. My holes were centered 4" apart. Of course I have a water heater so need both. Otherwisew it looks like the Amazon thing is best.

The faucet on the Toas is located in the countertop and not in the sink. If you replace it with a residential facuet it has to be short enough to let the galley fold over.
