Quote from: darksiderswes and i are thinking about coming down and hangin' with the gang sat. eve, since we're not too far away. is that ok?

Karen & Wes ...Yes , Yes come & Visit and if you have too many cocktails I can always put down the extra bed :D

Easter Eggs ...  I bought wrapped candy the main reason is when the kids pen them sometimes it fall out and the 5 sec rule applies if the candy is wrapped :)

My thought was to hide them in the campsites (not on the ground) before going to bed Saturday nite, that way when the kids woke up and went outside they'd think the Easter bunny came. Just everyone bring some and we can brainstorm ideas later.

Ez-ups I thought it would be nice just in case it rains, it's not suppose to but SCCampers are camping

Cactus coolers will be made also...need contributions. I have one large Bottle of Vodka. I will pick up OJ a bottle of peach schnapps and some energy drink.

Brandon can you mooch any BOO Koo from your friend??? or maybe a 50% off deal?

Firewood too can everyone bring some??

Dee4j

What is everyone bringing to the Sat. nite potluck?

Since I'm doing the whole dinner thing on sunday for Dan's B-day I was thinking about doing something super easy like Baked beans, or green salad

PopUpMomma

I'm bringing a mac salad and I think the allen family are bringing a ham.

BootheBunch

Are we doing an Easter theme for the potluck?  Or whatever potluck?  If whatever....I think we are doing peanut butter pork (still need to look for that recipe!).

Lisa

I'm for sure bringing Baked beans.....that way we can sit around the fire blazing saddles style!!  :yikes:  Sorry Lisa.....you can always make Brandon sleep outside :J

We HAVE to play Apples at least once, we have new cards.....I think I like the old ones better, but we have new write ins!!!!! One was in honor of
Viking, Brandon  & Dave :J

A couple of you have asked.....

Who all is up for going to church that morning? I checked out the times for Mariner's Church (non-denominational)...for those interested....it's down the street from Newport Dunes....about 5 miles. Their schedule is:

Good Friday Services: Noon, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30
Easter Services: Saturday at 4 and 6
Sunday at 8:30, 10, and 11:30

I am still thumping...thinking of maybe going to the sand and doing our own thing....

Okay.  The teacher in me is coming out.  I am thinking about doing an Easter-type service for the kids (adults can come, too, to help)--(I am NOT singing!).  The activity will be Resurrection Eggs.  And, I am thinking of doing it at about 9 am on Sunday morning....

Those of you interested in coming, are more than welcome.  Those who would rather go to Mariner's....you'll love that church.  Those of you not interested in any of it....don't eat all the Easter candy!

Regarding the number of kids that might be there (to make sure I have enough supplies)---I have down

Looks like an Easter-Themed Potluck.  Yummy!!  So, we will make a hashed brown casserole (goes well with ham!).

Bran is going to ask Jason about the Boo-Koo drink tomorrow.
