Yup, the SCcampers are having a ralley.......who told the weather gods?

I clicked on the link for Newport Beach weather. It says that it will be mostly cloudy every day. Highs will be in the mid 60's. High humidity about 70%. The lows at night in the high 50's to low 60's. There is only a 10% chance of rain on any given day. So there, I have jinked the sky clouds.

I don't know if Bran called you....he had told me yesterday that Jason doesn't think he can get the Boo-Koo anymore (not available).....BOOHOO!

I called this morning to Newport dunes. I was asking about the pancake breakfast and how much it costs for each person. It's $7 each adult & $4 for kids. I also inquired about the weather forecast. They said no rain is forecasted. I think since they live and work there, they would know best. It will just be overcast!

Oh, I forget you don't live right here! I live here in South Orange County. Weather is fine! We've been wearing capris or shorts, with short sleeves all week (with a jacket in the morning). It is overcast in the morning...the sun has been peeking out later....and it is peaking out right now! I know it will be more overcast/longer there by the beach....but I don't think it will be bad at all!! I've been enjoying the weather. I do know they say it is supposed to get a bit cooler over the weekend...the 60's....we just have to roll the dice! It is always a guess!

Hello everyone.
I want to first say thank you to Lisa for a great time for Easter at Newport Dunes resort. I want to give a shoot out to my family next, who actually helped me unload the trailer and go thru all the drawers. It really helps!

I must say that Dee put on the "show" for her husband, Dan! Twenty six pounds of carne asada and chips and beans and rice. Also Brandon who had unsuppecting souls trying out the solantra and other hot peppers!
We even had some suprise vistors from the North. Jackie of OCampers and Kevin and his family (6Quigs). Jackie was just a short visit but Kevin joined the mighty Fish Squad and loved the catcus coolers by Dee.
DK&3kids also came on Sunday for Dan's birthday party. We had Dan go take the kids to the play ground while we set up table's, hung up the streamers and ballons, and got the big meal going.
Other Sccampers will share their own reflections of the trip. It will take a couple of days to go thru all the digital pictures we took and post the best of the best out of over 400 pictures!.
Thanks again to Brenda & Steve & Family. For the Allen family who brought the big yellow peeps and gave us the confetti eggs. To Dave and Sue and their kids and grandkids.
To Lindsey, who gave us the ride down to back bay cafe where they had tattos for the kids and pictures with the Easter bunny.
It was great seeing old friends and making some new ones.

Well the kids and I made it home this afternoon without much of a problem. I sure enjoyed visiting with Dee and Bob. I wish I could of stayed longer. It would of been great fun seeing Kevin and Margaret (6 Quigs). We could of blended the drunk squad with the fish squad at last. You never know when Surfcal could show up too. One of these days I am going to get to try a cactus cooler.

Happy birthday Dan. What a way to celebrate.

What a great time had by all. I really enjoyed the smaller group.....this is the first time I actually got to sit down and talk with you all. I can finally put faces to names. Good Job Lisa, can't wait 'till next year. As we were putting away the peeps until next year, we are already thinking about what we can do next year......you never know about PopUpMomma and the crew. Thanks fish squad for making sure the easter bunnie found his way....even for the older kids in our group, they had a blast looking for their eggs. The allen family had a great time too. They said they would be back. Hope everyone has healed and all went home well. So far, we've managed to dodge this horrible flu. My son had it so bad he was out of work an entire week. Take care all.
