Prices are not falling, but costs are...PJay and I are once again working such that we can carpool.  :)  She has a contract that includes free parking  :)  :p  :) (unheard of in downtown Minneapolis) and I work the same hours less than two blocks away.  We're using slightly more than half the gas of a month ago, so prices would have to go WAY up to actually cost us more. ;)

Oh, and we get to use the HOV lanes and bypass on-ramp meters.  ;)  :p  :)

I noticed here in central Ohio prices have dropped too. One week ago it was $2.99 and this morning it was $2.83 :#  Time to fill up.

My previous post is accurate, but not for our immediate area.  This is the price we paid per liter in Canada on our recent trip.  Our area has prices in the $3.10 area here.

Prices have actually gone up 2 or 3 cents in the past week. :(

If you want to keep an eye on the general trend of gas and oil prices.  Go to this website:
http://money.cnn.com/data/commodities/

Actual prices usually lag the commodity prices.

I filled up this morning and the price was $2.93.  We live in North Highlands, CA, just outside Sacramento.   This station is an Arco and is usually the cheapest in the area because they do a large volume of business.  (For the Sacramento Area people - it is located at the corner of Hillsdale and Walerga.  It is usually cheaper, by 2-5 cents, than the Arco on Madison close to the freeway.)

Price for regular dropped another  .02 cents here today. Price is now $2.91...It has dropped .08 cents sofar this week. Hope it keeps on dropping....

It FINALLY dropped 5 cents today.  It's 2.86 at the Mapco a mile away from home.  It's still pretty ridiculous in this area (Larry - what's the price down on that side of town?)

I just filled up for 2.79, and that is with the gas guzzling Dream Cruise going on!

Starting to drop around here also.

Local gas station is $3.01 but when I go to Concord, I can fill up for about $2.85.

Glad to hear the prices are dropping.  Heading out next week on a month long 3000 mile trip.  I figure between $850 and $900 just for gas.  Hope I can cut that down a bit if the gas drops.

I was glad to see the prices going down here.  last week I filled up for $3.19 because it had dropped from $3.29 the week before.  Yesterday I saw it for $3.12.... boy I was wishing my tank wasn't 3/4 full.  It seems like we are higher than everyone else..... I need to move.
