Own a 200 Coleman Seapine

How safe is it to put holes in an ABS roof?  Can it be done anywhere in the roof, or only on the edge? etc....
from the inside to hang shelves from? or do some of the mods seen from other users?

Can you go in 1/2 inch safely?  I don't want any leaks at all.

take a look at my MOD page below and review my hanging self from the interior mods. you really don't want to put a hole in your roof (outside). but you can put a hole in your ceiling (inside) safely. recommend that you drill a small hole and then push a drill bit up into the ceiling until to hit the roof. this will give you an idea of how much gap you have. the gap on my unit was about 3/4 inch.
Good luck

If you stop by most any RV dealer they'll have special PopRivets that are designed like an expansion wall anchor and are used by Fleetwood, and most other manufacturers to mount things to the ceiling. The body length of the rivet gives you the drill depth to use.

Most manufacturers use a 15 pound per attachment point and a 30 pound maximum rating for anything hanging off the ceiling.
