Welp, we're home and alive after our maiden trip in the new to us Cub 160.

Despite a few hiccups, it was a fun time. Let's just say that Saint Louis traffic, well, it's not pleasant. Nor is it kind to the MPG of a 1997 GMC Yukon!

So - some 300 miles or so, haven't done the totals yet, about 12mpg towing and around 16 for the highway-based running we did.

We learned that RV antifreeze stinks and tastes bad too!

Anyway, for those who care, I put up a few pics of the site we were at. Babler State Park near St. Louis, MO.  Site 8. Nice, wide site, friendly people. And except for one or two psycho drivers at night, very pleasant and felt safe.

Forgive the blurred out faces and all. I have little fear of the fine people of PUT and other similar sites, but I have little desire to present my children and any info the world at large.  So, don't take the privacy steps personally, OK?! :-)

I do have a question about bunk latches that I'll post either in this forum and/or at the Dutchmen forums.

At any rate, we're looking at one more outing this fall before things get too cold for our blood.

Have a good one!

Can't help but to reply, Babler State Park is our favorite place to camp. You have a nice looking rig also. Good luck with her.
