What a great weekend!!

Thanks Tracy and Jazman for helping to "break-in" the new trailer.  We totally enjoyed your company, and look forward to the next time.

Tracy, thanks again for the assist with the re-winterization.  I just need to remember to reinstall the anode rod in the spring...

jazman

Let me add my thanks to Chip & Margie & Tracy for an outstanding weekend!

Kudos to Tracy for the high quality combustibles and the education on cooking forks. The baby powder dazzles were something.

Kudos also to Chip & Margie for the excellent chili and brown pops and conversation around the fire.

Now to get to work on my SPUT book, since I have a new experience to add from this weekend ( No. 147 in the pet related SPUT catagory).   :eyecrazy:

Cheers,

jazman & EZ

Chip I would reinstall the anode rod now.  It will keep critters from getting into your water heater.  Any water that is left in there, will not hurt anything.   I agree that it was a great weekend.  The company and the weather were both wonderful.:)

Well I have not seen/heard of anyone else doing this trick.  I can't wait to read your book.:D

I am glad you made the trip.:)

Hey guys!

Wish I could've been there!  I have no camper right now, so it would've made camping hard.  LOL!  Tracy, thanks for the voicemail and thinking of me!  Miss you all!

dademt

Hey rick, any word on the camper?  Are they fixing it or just replacing it?

copcarguy

Well both the dealer and Fleetwood agree I should get a whole new camper.  They both say the other one should pay for it.  At the moment, I'm in the middle with no camper...

Jaz - always have two sets of keys available, one inside the camper, and one outside the camper.  You can hide a spare camper key under a propane tank.  Then you will not have to do gymnastics should ALL your keys end up inside the camper.  :eyecrazy:  :p  :D  :eyecrazy:

Hi - I wish I could've met the others of you who camped over the Thanksgiving weekend.  I was fun to drive up to the SP and meet Tracy.  I couldn't stay too long.
Anyway, I think it will be fun to camp with people because I usually just camp with my son and my sister and her son.

Meet you all later....

dademt

Sorry to say that we weren't there either but I think I can speak for many when I say we can't wait to camp with your gang also.  Have a great holiday season.

Shelly it was nice meeting your family too.  Hope to see you in the future.:)

What happened to Rick's camper that he may have to get a new one?
I looked through this thread and couldn't find where he was having any problems.
What model is it?

tlhdoc

2006 Fleetwood Santa Fe.
toilet fell off the wall, wasn't screwed on
ceiling developed bubles
dinette delaminating
galley delaminating
water leaking in at air conditioner
air conditioner only attaced to the ceiling with one loose bolt
side panels bent and flap when towing- not screwed on
metal rectangles on box where the lifter arms go up are cracked
There is probably more, but this is what I can think of right now.

copcarguy

Wow good memory Tracy!

You forgot the stepper door hinges are bent, and on the last trip the propane system decided not to work for one day, and the safety switch on the galley melted so we had no inside lights / power.

Wow... I never mentioned here what the SPUT was...

The only ones who saw it were Tracy and Chip, and I swore Chip to secrecy...

So, it would appear that I was dimed out by Tracy...

Thanks girlfriend  :sombraro:

It was a combination of overtime detective investigating and paying an informant.
