Chez Way

Lori,  We are on board for this one!  Thanks for taking the wagonmaster reins once again.  Life is Good at Lopez works for us.  We have tent camped there, spent time at the water park and rented pontoon boats---definitely plenty to do....plus we'll be celebrating the #1 Michigan fan's b'day on the 25th.

Sounds good to me!  I knew you guys would come up with something while enjoying a bit of drink & fire!  Thanks Lori.  Count me in for at least Friday-Monday.  Who knows, I might want to stay a week in my new toy!  :D

lopez is good for us We are out of school on the 20th we will be going Thrusday-Monday,  maybe Tues. We want to be close to the action and not on the ends again. Right next to Dee so I don't have to stumble far.

We are definitely up for this one especially since Lake Lopez was DH's suggestion.  He was afraid that he would have to wagonmaster and we are so glad that he doesn't have to because we are definitely not up to that.

Now that our old trailer is now at its new home in Arizona, we are in the midst of ordering our new hybrid.

This will be one LONG LONG winter and can't wait for Spring to come.

Count us in :-() . We've been wanting to go to Lake Lopez :sombraro: .

DK&3kids

Well you already know we love this place based on last year before Pismo!  Count us in for Fri - Mon.  We'll leave from there and continue on to WA state!

Thank you for wagonmastering - I will help you in any way you need - I'm just a PM away!:D

Dan corrected me on the mountain biking - most of the paths up the hills are paved - does that count?  I guess I think of anything where I have to climb as mountain biking!  BUT....it has plenty of those trails and the view is great from the top!

Estone

Since there's only a few of us left with Pop ups :tent: ,

What are the bathroom facilities like at Lopez Lake?

Don't worry, Estelle....you're not alone....we'll be popping up for a long time!  Brandon really likes the pop-up.  Now he wants to start tricking it out.  :-)  BOYS!

  Just because you suggest it doesn't mean you have to be wagonmaster.

We camped there 2 years ago and again with DK&3kids before Pismo and we started kicking around the idea of moving the rally to Lopez at Pismo last June and again at Temecula we finally decided to go for it at Campland.

where ever we go count us in

WOW !!   You miss one campout and everyone starts planning stuff.

Wow, the boards will finally allow me to post!! :compumad:

Bad news on Lopez Lake--already full.  Checked w/Lake Nacimiento--no campfires in teh fullh/u section.  Checked w/Rancho Oso (Thousand Trails)--only horse camper section is for the public.  So I've made an executive wagonmastering decision.  The Pismo-nee-Lopez Lake Rally will now officially be at Flying Flags in Buellton--assuming they still have space!

We camped there last Memorial Day weekend w/Chez Way and Darksiders and it was quite nice.  I have a call into the group coordinater and will hopefully connect with her tomorrow.  Fees per night will probably run about $40-$50/night if we can get full hook ups (w/e/s).  I'll let everyone know what I find out.

Yeesh, who'da thought reserving sites almost 8 months out would be so hard! :eyecrazy:

Wow!  I can't believe Lake Lopez is already booked!

Hey, Buellton is fine....a place to set up camp, do campfire, drink a beer/cactus cooler...works for us!!
