Hey Deidre
Thanks for waking me up. I did volunteer to lead who ever decides to go out to the wineries. But more important I also volunteered to host the dine out at A.J. Spares for Sunday night dinner. I called and they ask me to call tomorrow to talk to one of there managers. So my question to all out there. should I post the info under this topic for sign up for dinner or start a new tread for the dinner out ?

my thoughts is to start a new thread containg 2 rosters one for wine tasting and one for AJ's . this way you can keep going to page one an update the list

oooh I forgot about dinner...yum yum...We're in..2A 2C we may have to go early around 5 PM I have found earlier is easier to accomodate

Dan isn't a wine drinker either he will have his car but only holds 4 total or he can drive someone else's if we can get a voluteer to beat.. I mean watch our kids while we're gone

Brad--I think a new thread would be better than everyone having to sift through all of our shenanigans in this thread trying to find info on wine tasting and AJ Spurs. Like Dee said, I would combine both activities in one thread and keep a roster in the very first post of who wants to go, who can drive, etc. If you create the thread, you'll be able to edit the first post to update the info. If you create it, I'll sticky it.
 
btw, I'm in for wine tasting--don't know if Dave is or not.  I'm sure he'll post and let us know. My whole family is in for AJs--3A, 1C

a breakfast potluck might be a good idea, so we can fill our bellys before imbibing in libations...but if the general consensus says nay, that's ok, too

We should keep in mind that it could very well be raining during this campout and if it is it would be to hard to have a breakfast potluck. But Karen was smart enough to reserve one of there meeting/dining rooms for Saturday night, so the weather will not be an issue for Saturday night potluck dinner.

Just a thought on the rain......don't we have enough portable awning's to have shelter from the weather? We have one and am sure others have them.....So with these covers we should get some protection from the rain for Sat. Morning potluck........That is unless the sky's really open up for a down pour.......carol
