I second that...nice compromise ....do I here a 3rd for 6:30...

Jim...I thought you were a "true" camper...a little dark & cold shouldn't bother you as far as the kids being hungry ..throw thema bone to tie 'em over...they're camping..so they eat some junk food..Mom won't know she won't be there  :yikes:


for those with DO maybe you can get the coall starters set up and we can call someone to light them and they will be ready for when we arrive at the campground....not sure Dan can handle it, but I know Jim or Brian could....just a thought

with having the clubhouse for dinner will make it very nice, we will have plenty of light and it will be warm while we eat.

Okay, we'll just start with marshmallows and go backwards.

Regarding the charcoal- DO charcoal doesn't take long to light- I can have extra going.

Or- if someone brings the following it will be taken care of automatically:

Wind up alarm clock.
55 gallon drum 1/4 full of lighter fluid
96 pounds of charcoal
assortment of rubber bands
crossbow
2 boxes of strike-anywhere matches

yes, you are in, i wasn't able to get you in the 2 rows that we are in, but i was able to get you 1 row away and very close to the group...of course, the last 10' of your rig will be sitting in the slow lane of the 101 fwy.....just kidding, that's a joke!
