Don't know if this is "legal" (since I started a new thread about this) or not, but I want to make sure everyone sees this:

I was on the phone at 7:55 & dialed non-stop until 8:10, when I got through but was #4. Another 8 minutes go by & Fox is full. The only area that's available is Bass, but it has just water & electricity. Another issue is the bathrooms. No showers, so it's a drive to Fox. Because of the number of people who want full hook-ups (and after a discussion with Dee), I've NOT made any reservations.

Four days with no sewer for some is a stretch, but more than that, lack of decent bathrooms for everybody seems to be a deal-breaker, especially in August when it will be most likely be very, very warm.

I still have everyone's check. We can try for another CG & I'll use the checks for that, I can return them, or I can tear them up.

I'm so sorry. Guess it's the luck of the draw. Back to the drawing board ...

We don't need sewer hook-ups and we only picked the Premier Site because it wasn't on the lake side.  

When we were here last year, I didn't ever go into the bathrooms but DH did.  I talked to DH and he said that the bathrooms are between a pit and a flush potty, very basic.  As for showers, he said that he thinks there is a bath house towards the front of the campground.

there are no sinks to wash after you go potty...

when talking with Laura we decided it was not a good idea  to speak for the group and give them less than they agreed to without consulting them first. If full hook-ups were available in another section then a substitute could have been made. 4 days would be a stretch for us not to dump the tanks and I'd have to hear DH complain about the bathrooms..been there on two other rallys and had to listen to him complain all weekend :eyecrazy:

apparently you did . The sites had to be PAID IN Full at the time the reservation was made. so Laura asked for the money up front, not knowing that it would be like calling reserve america to get sites...
