does anyone have a roof vent other then the one in the bathroom? i miss that! wish they added a another vent closer to the front bunk. yes i know they put the a/c unit where the vent  was, but i would of liked a second vent , i like leaving the vent open a bit to take the heat off the roof special when  the sides are up,

That is the one feature of the Bantam/TC line that I really liked.  I plan to put a Fantastic Fan in this summer for the same reason you state.  The fan over the stove is nothing but loud.  I may opt to move our Microwave above the stove, then drop in the oven in place of the Microwave.  I figure the Fantastic Fan or one of those power MaxxAir fans should be able to remove any cooking smells better anyway.  The little fan/vent in the bathroom is fine for venting the bathroom and we leave it open at night, but that fan couldn t suck a fly out if it only had one wing!
 
 So many mods... so little time!

My  99 Bantam has 2 vents also, one in the wet bath and one above the u-shaped dinette space. Since the only cooking we do is in the microwave inside the trailer, we do not need the powervent.
 
 I do wish ours had an out side gas line with a quick connect fitting, like the Jayco. The newer ones do and come with a grilly thing. But an outdoor stove with a 1 lb propane bottle works about as well.
 
 My wish list for mods is a cigarette lighter in the camper to run the AC/DC cooler, vent covers and an outdoor gas connection. Oh yes, an access door on the front side of the trailer would be nice to.

ok, your bantam has the second vent, our starcraft sso has the gas line outside and the 12volt, cig lighter outlet. which vent cover? our roof vent has a cover, and the vent over the inside stove has luvers(spelling) that close and our door is in the front half. opens in front of couch

I want the things that go over the vents so we can run with our vents open or can keep them open if it rains.
