We now have the 33 Adults to reserve the banquet room. I am still hesitant on getting this private room, because if anyone cancels due to sickness or other reasons, the $125.00 reserve fee goes into affect. Now if I could get another 2 to 4 Adults interested in going, then I will get the banquet room.

Also the questions were asked about tables and checks. we will be seated at 3 to 4 long tables that hold 8 to 10 people each and to my surprised that are willing to give separate checks to anyone that asks for one..... way cool !!!

another question that was asked was about sharing the room with the other camping group that is going to be there and even the hostess mentioned the same idea. I told her the only problem that I had with that is:

1] don't know them

2] what if they don't pay their complete bill and then AJ spurs comes looking for us to make good because the room is in our name.

NOW IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS TO GO !!!!!! ( TO AJ SPURS...LOL) PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE THIS FRIDAY

Brad I agree with your concerns

"most".. not all,   "RV" camping clubs tend to be the retired folk. They may not appreciate being in a room with a bunch of kids. Even tho we do have the most behaved kids around.  :book: They put their time in, and they want their peace  


Hey Brad if we have 10 kids can we put them in pairs  and make them 5 adults??  :J


actually If a child orders off the Adult menu & not the childs menu does that make them an adult? child is 12 & under  Kevin (12) still eats off the kids menu (because he like the food) but maybe other kids don't. Kevin usually eats his and then finishes Kara's :p

I may have a friend coming on the trip -- won't know until next week.  So, if that puts a bind in your plans, I guess you can count me out.  I can make plans in advance & commit to things, but my friends can't -- or don't -- or won't.  I can't imagine that the restaurant isn't more flexible, unless it's a space thing for a particular room.  Sounds like, though, that we're in the main part of the restaurant, and as long as we give them a count as late as the night before it'll be okay (only speaking as the sister of a general manager for Claim Jumper).

so, do we still have 4 designated drivers for wine tasting: recumbent, dee4j, surfcampers, and azusateach?

also, who is interested in wine tasting?  it would be a good idea to get a rough headcount, so we figure out if we have enough drivers.

i'm thinking we should divide the drivers into specific areas, since there's no way we could possilbly hit all of the areas. here's my proposal:  one car for those that want to return early, for food prep or otherwise. another car to the north, say the foxen valley, which would take you on a nice loop, starting with foxen, then going south to firestone.
another carload could go to the santa ynez area to the east of the campground, then head back hitting sanford and points inbetween.
this is just a rough proposal to see if there's an interest in this plan.  i just think we should have some sort of plan for wine tasting, because there are so many places to visit and so little time.

Yes I'm still up for driving...... I think Brad has made a plan..do we not all want to go together??  I'm easy... I go where the wind blows, just tell me where to float :p  When everyone gets there friday nite we can have a pow wow over some cocktails next to the fire and decide :!
