With things so tightly scheduled, I just thought it difficult of prepare for the potluck.  To make things easy on me, I'll bring meatballs with BBQ sauce (crockpot style).

I'm with Dee that the schedule isn't proportioned correctly but we'll just go with the flow.

Bob, I was just informed that I was bringing taco salad.  Please, if you know something I don't, clue me in.  I know I'm busy, but I do believe that my post said that I'd be bring taco SOUP.

I agree Bob, for you to take on a Rally of this size for your first is awesome.  You just have to remember you ain't gonna please everyone, So don't even try.  It's not worth driving yourself nuts over.  For the record, those of us not doing the potluck has nothing to do with your planning skills, it's just our choice.  However, I will be selling tickets to the other campers to come and watch the chaos unfold.  Reading these posts you would think nobody has ever done a potluck before.  :) :Z

BOY, I don't come on in a week or so and things just fall apart.... Are we potlucking or not? We have been so busy, we haven't even thought of the campout until tonight. We need a little R & R, looking forward to it.

I will be there Thursday, DW and son are coming Friday afternoon. See you all there....:)

this is one f the hardest to wagonmaster...I would know.

I'm just showing up and  lighting things on fire & drinking beer & cactus coolers.  can't wait for the train & pumpkin patch.

Dee do you need any vodka or monster drinks for the cactus coooooooolers?

Kim where is the best place to buy sugarless candy for Josh?

Finally, we are undecided what to bring to the potluck. I will talk to Lori.

Thanks

I've been biting my tongue (or in this case typing fingers) all week, but I just want to post that being the wagonmaster of any rally, but especially one that involves so much organized activities is a challenge and a labor of love.  I want to join Lisa and Brian in saying to thank you to Bob that our family is really looking forward to next weekend.   Thank you, in advance to Dieter for the t-shirts, Mary and Sean for the craft, Bob for organizing the train ride, Dee for being willing to buy the breakfast ingredients in advance, Trina for, I'm sure, supporting Bob and offering help, and to all the other behind the scenes helpers that make this happen.  For me - speaking for my children - this is in the top 3 events of the year for them and I truly appreciate all of the hard work that is making it happen.

I'm off my soap box - I'll see you all Friday.

Yes, I also want to say how much we appreciate the role of wagonmaster at all of the rallys but especially for this rally. Bob, you have done an incredible job of coordinating the campsites and scheduled activities as well as putting up with all of us high maintenance rally goers. Thank you soooo much for everything. Our family is really looking forward to a great weekend beginning with the pancake breakfast, the train ride, the costume contest, the potluck, the raffle and hopefully to the poker game (seems like we'll NEED the energy drink!)...woohooo!
