This is a fun place.  Been there a few times.  LOTS to do in the area.  We're in for A.J. Spurs and wine tasting too!

At the Southern California dutch oven gathering this past weekend, they had a raffle, which was fun even though Dee seemed to win everything and Moose, Laura, JimQ, Dave, and I didn''t win anything!;)
 
But it got me to thinking...it would be fun to have a raffle at our June rally. I've already started to get some donations for the raffle.  Dave and I thought we could use the money generated from the raffle to purchase a projection system for our rallies, like we had at Temecula last year.
 
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know what's in the works...

It would be great if someone would donate a fancy-schmancy Mair Dutch Oven lid lifter!  I think I know someone who has a new unused one.

I'm hoping she'll actually learn to use that fancy schmancy lid lifter, but you raise a good point, Jim.  If anyone would like to donate items for the raffle, you are more than welcome to do so, but please remember, this is a raffle, not a yard sale.

Math was one of the main reasons why I decided NOT to continue and finish my engineering degree

We are 2 adults and 2 children, currently.  But I think that could grow to 3 adults, and 4 children.
