Quote from: griffsmomAs for the potlucks, I'll make waffles for Saturday morning. I'm not sure about the main course for dinner, but definitely a DO dessert. Maybe a cinnamon apple cobbler w/vanilla ice cream, in honor of Autumn.
Our potluck contributions have been decided:

Waffles (w/fresh blueberries if possible) for Saturday breakfast and tri tip and cinnamon-apple cobbler w/vanilla ice cream for dinner.

Lori Do you want to use the BBq in the supersite?? that way you won't have to clean yours.  :p

Dee4j

oh BTW: Kevin & Dan won't make it for dinner, His teacher said "not during field season" almost in a way like how dare you even ask..

the good news is the award ceremony is @ 5:30 instead of
9 pm. Dan says it lasts about 45 min. to an hour. so I'm thinking they will get there before 8 pm.

I am bringing Meet the Robinson's and Ratatouille for movie nights any other ideas Do we want a movie all 3 nites??

I'm also bringing Spiderman 3 for Kevin and the big kids to watch Saturday nite in my trailer. Since I believe it's PG-13.

That's Dave's decision, since he's the BBQ-er, but it sounds like a good idea to me! :sombraro:

I think the kids enjoy the movies--although I have a very distinct memory of about 25 kids in the jacuzzi all at one time. I'm thinking a little soak in warm water, then a little snuggly PJs and blankies while watching a movie and we'll have 'em all down and sweet dreamin' in no time.  :-()

Is anyone bringing their kids' bikes? Or just scooters and skateboards? I'm already in packing list mode--I WANT TO GO CAMPING!!!!

Recumbentman

Lori
Mary and I are bringing our bikes and our plan is to ride around mission bay. They have a nice bike path that goes all round the bay area. bring your bike and join us. If anyone one else wants to join us on a fun & easy bike ride, please bring your bike and join us on Saturday after the breakfast potluck.

Scooters- Since Jason isn't riding a bike yet.  Too much trouble to bring adult bikes and the trailer for him.

Jason and I will arrive hopefully by 5:00 Friday.  We're aiming to leave from pre-school at 1:30.  Melissa has a Girl Scout activity and soccer on Saturday so Kristi will bring her down afterward- I hope they make it by dinner since Melissa really, really likes potlucks.

For breakfast I'll do sourdough pancakes.  Made to order with tree syrup and cow butter of course.

Dinner I'm undecided.  We went to the SoCal Dutch Oven Society Thanksgiving DOG yesterday and I continued my string of barely done somewhat late dishes.  I do okay with the DO on solo cooks but not when I'm aiming for a specific time.  Something about taking conventional recipes and doubling them I never allow enough time.  Also I don't add coals early enough.

Therefore I'm going to find something that can be done an hour early and held.

I'm brought  both for Kara and the electric scooter. I don't have a bike but I think they rent them there. if I had thought about it  I could've of brought Kevins to ride.

4 more wake-ups!!!
