About six hours here.....

I'm not packed and I have too much to do at work.

Jason gets out of pre-school at 2:30 and I'm going to try very hard to pick him up with trailer in tow.  I guess that means I better leave the office about now!

Oh someone forgot to mention that in true SCampers fashion it did rain today.  Just a little but enough to keep the streak alive.  Looks like we may get more...

Man what a weekend.  We had fun, but the wife got sick saturday and spent the day in bed, (and the bathroom).  The rain kind of sucked, especially having to close up a wet trailer, which just means more work now that I am home.  To top things off, I GOT PULLED OVER on the way home!!  Seems I was dong 65 with the trailer when I should be doing 55.  I think he didn't have anything else to do.  I got off with a warning but it still sucks.  FIrst time being pulled over in 20 years of driving.

ANYWAY, we still had a lot of fun, the kids had a blast.  And the food was great (well maybe not for the wife).  See you guys again soon, maybe the next rain??

BootheBunch

We had lots of fun!!

Thanks, Dee, for wagonmastering this one again!  Great job!

Lori, thanks for the tye-dye craft!  The shirts look way cool!

Everyone else....thanks for the good spirits and conversations!

Thanks all.  We had a great time- even the women of my family who were only there for 18 hours.

RECIPE REQUESTS!

Dieter- How about that spoonbread recipe.

And who made the chili con corn?  I really liked it- rather untraditional but nice fresh tastes and textures.

I posted the recipe already...

We just call it Corn stuff, but its the Mexican Sweet Corn stuff you get at CHevy's. Its good and easy to make. We doubled the recipe for the DO.
You can not steal this for the SCCampers Potlucks though, looks like this will be my Goto for a While.

1 (one) CUP SOUR CREAM
1 (one) 7 OUNCE BOX OF JIFFY CORN MUFFIN MIX
2 EGGS
2-3 TABLESPOONS SUGAR

Hey ya'll - we're home.  The best part is that we didn't get lost finding our way (DAVE).  We stopped at Costco to get groceries and Dan got his X-mas present early - a Magellan GPS.  Thanks for all those who encouraged him!:sombraro:

It was way fun and we love our tye die shirts!  I hate to see the end of Veteran's Day hooked to a weekend!

Well, we both had a good time.  It's not often that Jed gets to go to the beach 2 days in a row, let along TWO different beaches!

I know it must seem like I'm just an anti-social recluse to you all.  But you know, I truly enjoy your company.  Thanks for including both of us in your fun.

We too had a wonderful time, even though I couldn't talk very well the first day...enjoyed the spa, biking around the bay...oh and the wine...who could forget the wine...it was a great weekend.

After leaving the campground we stopped for breakfast then headed north for four hours!  Traffic never stopped which was wonderful! Looking forward to the next campout!
