We stayed in B24 the last time we went to campland, and it was fine for us.  HOWEVER,  if everyone else is in H, it might be nice to be a little closer to the crowd.  Say Section G maybe.

We are on the waiting list now, if we don't get in with the group we MAY just try to get a spot on our own....

Thanks!

section G and F right behind us are for long termers only..I was hoping for B3 area which is just on the other side of the bathrooms from us

don't get a spot on your own the group rate is about half of the regular rate. let's see what the others say and I can get the 3 of you together. if not and you still want to go you can call them see what they have and I'll add it to our group

Quote from: kimrb266Being that there was a waiting list last year and again this year, isn't it possible to make reservations for more sites next year and give us "non-regulars" a chance to go.

I can make reservations for all the sites I want. here is the problem

1. Camplands H/U's are not all left hand side. meaning picture parking 2 cars in your driveway side by side and placing a powerpole between the two.  ALL trailer HU"s are on the left. so you either have to "push" your trailer in or have all your hookups run thru your campsite. (With a motorhome it's easy to pull in or back in)

2. sites H9-20 they will NOT give me at the group rate..All of G section is long term only as so is F28, 26 ,24 etc. But I am not sure if ALL of F is long term

3. The first or second year I had more sites. The only Full HU's they would give me was over in rows K, L or M. but nobody signed up since they were so far away from the group.

section B is the closest to us but does NOT have sewer HU. but is close to the bathrooms.

If you 3 want I can try to get B3, 4, & 7. I could put JimQPublic in B4 since his PU wouldn't be as hard to push in.

actually Kim B3 is one of my favorite sites and Grizzlytaco stayed there last March and he liked the site also. it's on the end with a great grass area for the kids to play

kimrb266

Sounds good for us and we really don't need sewer as long as their is a dump station on the premises. Let me talk w/ DH and see what he says.

What is the pricing per night for section "B" w/o sewers?

JimQPublic

Though I'd rather be with the main group, B4 would be okay.  I don't really need hookups anyway so push in/ back in would each work.

I just sent the person in charge of groups an e-mail requesting B3, B4 & B7 and asked her the rate also.

if a cancellation comes up in the main group I can start moving you guys over in the order you were on the waiting list

dkutz

we don't need full hookups W/E would be fine.(cable?)  As for left right side, I think I can push ours its not that big, or maybe get some help???

What ever works let us know.  If we are going as a Group it would be nice to be close together...

UPDATE:

I have aquired:

B3 kimrb266 ?? (Lft Hu)
B4 Jimqpublic (rt Hu)
B7 dkutz        (lft Hu)
B8. AVAILABLE  (rt HU)

These are Water, Electric, Cable only.. the total cost for the site is:

$112.72 + $31.82 (1/15 of supersite) = 144.54

if we fill the last site the supesite fee goes to $29.83

for those who have paid in full a refund will be given for the supersite fee paid.

also I found a new place (well to me) that I didn't know existed. I know Surfcampers will dig it. It has a wavepool to surf real waves

here is the link:  belmont park

so for Campland it will be 2 adults and how may kids.

as far as the money I have to be paid in full by October 1st so anytime before that is great

that might be cool. I'll have to wait until it gets closer They have height limits and my 8 yr old is too short. :(

O/T: speaking of height limits. Wash state requires children under 12 or 4'9" to be in a booster car seat..Kevin is 4'9". and will be 13 end of Aug.

Silly question!!! Does Left Hookups mean that we would have run extra cords through our campsite or is it located in the regular location if we back in?

I'll talk to DH about this. Of course, being with the group is the best, if not, I guess, we'll be in our mini group.

Is it possible for reserving a different location next year so more sites can be reserved?

What's Huff N Puff Park?

BootheBunch

Huff n Puff Park is a little park for the kids to play.  It has a slide, swings, tire swing, bars, seesaw.  We were just there this weekend....the swings and slide were off limits for some reason (maybe redoing?).  It's a nice park, my kids love to play there.

Yes left means they are on the correct side (drivers side) when you back in.

as far as more sites together. I know everyone likes the supersite, (but not a necessity)  section in H is the ONLY section with all Lft HU's and out of 16 families going there are only 6 pu's. which will make it much harder to organize and keep everyone together. these sites are also longer. some of the other sections have real short sites. the  rows J,k,l those are real narrow and don't have fire rings
