The other day a gal said to me "I have the photos in my phone".  I knew exactly what she meant; it made perfect sense.

Thinking about it afterwards, it occurred to me that not that many years ago, that remark would have made everyone go "huh?"

Made me wonder if we can list some other remarks that would have been 'alien' five years ago, but now don't even raise eyebrows?

Anyone?

"I sent you a document/picture/other a few minutes ago. You should have it by now."

My almost 4YO greatniece told her mom, my niece, the other day on the way to school, "Mommy, I wish you had a TV in your car like Auntie does."  When she told me, I laughed.  The used vehicle we just bought happened to have a DVD built in (not something I'd pay extra for as my kids are older now).  And then I thought, back in my kiddy days, we were thrilled when my dad bought a floor air conditioner that plugged into the cigarette lighter.  Now the kids are demanding DVD players!  Go figure!

I asked my daughter what she wanted for Xmas.

she said, "Grandad asked me same thing this morning."

"So, what did you tell him?" I asked

"I told him I wanted a Pink Razor."  Said  daughter

"And....."

"And, he said I was to young to be shaving."

How about Bluetooth headsets?

Seeing someone standing alone on a street corner talking would have made us cross to the other side...
