Can anyone give me a ball park range of what the cost would be to replace the canvas on a typical PUP (10-12' box) with or wihout a slide out?  I've been watching campers on E-bay, and wondering if it's worth bidding on one that would need canvas (hungry mice).

I am pretty handy and have done extensive repair on an older (1976 Starcraft Starlette) PUP we used to have, and am shopping for another, a little larger and newer.  But i don't think sewing a new canvas is quite in my skill set......

any suggestions/ comments on looking @ used campers would be welcomed.

Here is one for canvas. Canvas is around $800+ S&H:

Actually, canvas could be the least of your worries. Watch for roof and floor damage from water leaks ;)

Bear Creek is an excellent place to buy from. I purchased a new canvas set from them for our '73 Starcraft Swinger 6 and was quite pleased....I mangled a zipper while installing and they fixed it for free even though it was my fault. If I ever need to replace the canvas again, I will order from them again.

I helped a friend replace her canvas a few years ago and it was about $8oo. Her camper is a coleman and was fairly easy, even with a glass or 2 of wine. The Colemans canvas just slides into a track at the bottom and top.
