I'd like to get there between noon and 2pm Fri.  We'll see when I wake up Fri morning.

Do you guys think it's too early to de-winterize?  I was thinking of maybe doing that and sanitizing the water system...

YES I do.  I know we will have more freezing weather.  I even worry about the water system being unwinterized after our Easter trip.  You could blow the lines out at the end of the trip, if you really want to dewinterize.:)

Forecast for this weekend in my area: Low in the 20s,Highs in the 40s
I would not de-winterize,but that's just me.

The camper is hitched up and packed.  I think the only thing I have left to pack is the cooler and I will do that tonight before I go to bed.  Towing to work tomorrow and then camping tomorrow evening. :D

Wishing y'all a safe and enjoyable time.

Hey Tracey! (and everybody else),
We are back from Florida and I am unpacking and repacking tonight and tomorrow. We plan on being at the campground sometime between 5 and 6 p.m. (we hope!) Friday eve. Some of our friends may be getting there before us and we told them to make sure they get back by the "Q" loop. One or two of our other friends will be arriving with us later. See ya all soon!

Great!  How many families are coming with you?  Do you have any plans?

I am packed up and ready to tow the PU to work in the morning and then to the campground.:)

Hey guys...  ummmm has anyone else looked at the forecast for Fri?    If it comes true, I will not be towing 3 hours in that type of weather...  My camper is hooked up too, but I still have memories of last months fiasco.

tlhdoc

Yes I have looked at the weather.  Come down Thursday after work if you are worried.  It is supposed to be above freezing during the day so it shouldn't stick until in the evening.:)

PS:  Who picked this weekend anyhow?:D

Hi Guys

At this time  I'm still hoping to see everybody on friday night, but I really don't like this talk about sleet/freezing rain and then to top it off,up to 6 inches of snow.I guess will just have to see what happens.

Andy

SheBantam

We are "lucky" down here south of the Mason Dixon line (or at the very least on it), we are only going to have rain and freezing rain, no snow is being called for down here.

I'll have to see how it looks on Saturday to decide if I will come for lunch.  I do have a lot to do around here (manicure, pedicure, hair cut, for the baptism on Sunday). Depending on what time lunch/dinner was, I could get all that done in the morning and drive up all primped and proper (could you all stand me???)

Tracy, it was that guy from NY that picked this weekend...the one who needed the Golden Corral fix...

OOps, the newest weather broadcast says possible wintery mix tomorrow night...May not be driving out of town on Saturday unless it is a HUGE warmup.

Hi Tracey,
As of right now there are definitely 2 of us camping with 2 more possible. We have no definite plans except to have fun! Nothing that is being predicted could be as bad as last time AND WE MADE IT!!!! LOL
Seriously tho.......DH doesn't have a problem with setting up in the snow......he just hates setting up in the rain. Have a big fire burning for us and we'll see ya Friday eve.
The others that may be there before us are Wayne Funkhouser and his friend Mary and our other friends Jodi Stiles and her husband Eric. Wayne F. has a 32 foot Mountainier and Jodi has a 32 foot Cougar 5th Wheel. We will be bring our other friends Marty and Marie S (if no one backs out of course).
Safe Travels all,
Cheryl
