Thanks Paula.:)

I had about an inch of snow yesterday after dark.  The sun is shining now and I am hoping to have a dry PU to take home.  I am going to take the bunkend covers off to make sure the bunkends are totally dry.:)

Good morning Tracy
I hope the sun is coming out like yesterday (at least here) so that the
tenting can dry and becomes more 'plyable", so you can pop down.
When do you plan on breaking camp? You might be working on that already, the way I know you.

Andy

Good evening Andy.  Yes I was working on breaking down camp.  I didn't leave until 11:30, but I disconnected the internet ahead of time.  Home safe, dry camper, washed at a local do it your self place, so it is clean.  Well sort of clean.  Unloaded everything (I can't wait until I can leave stuff in the camper for the season), took the TV for a good wash and filled it with gas, came home and parked the TV, moved DH's truck back into our driveway.  Next I took the car to the new Super Wal-Mart (Paula you will need to visit, it is behind the Sheets where we met going to the glen last year).  Picked up DS at a friends house, took him to Wal-Mart and in between I made corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.:)

i'm tired just reading it all. Glad your home safe and dry. It was fun talking to u on AIM and seeing your posted pic's HAIL TO THE SNOW QUEEN! :frosty:

Tracy,
As usual, I'm impressed with all that you do (and without complaint). You certainly push camping to the limit. I used to think Andy was the crazy one (after his winter trip to Otter Lake) but this trip tops that. So how cold was it in your camper at night? Remember MY idea of cold is MUCH different than yours.

No camping here but after reading about your last two trips (or attempted trips), I'm glad I wasn't involved. Still busy, busy, busy with Chris' heart surgery, Kelsey's bball & soccer and J's seemingly never-ending college search. He's still interviewing for scholarships, not that I'm complaining about that. Next week he's off to Miami - at least it should be warm :#  Certainly better weather than his weekend in Rochester. Things should settle down soon (2 weeks til he gets his decisions). I can't wait til May when his decision making will be complete. So many ups and downs emotion wise - I've never seen him affected like this. It's like having another teenage girl. If only he had been willing to go to our state u, we could have avoided all this craziness.

BTW, thanks for taking & posting your photos. It actually looks WORSE than I imagined, haha.

Di it was ok.  I talked to some people on AIM and looked forward to the post here at PUT.  Keeping the roof clear was the only thing I worried about, and not having corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day.  You would have enjoyed being in my camper.  Saturday afternoon it was around 80 and over night it was in the mid 60s.  I kept it warm so that the snow would melt off.  Thursday night it was more to my liking, mid 50s.:D

This started by my saying I was camping in Lancaster this weekend and going to shady maple.  Then Paula said she was interested and it grew from there.  Sorry to not have posted it.  My fault.

Shady Maple is in Blue Ball, PA.  It is an all you can eat buffet and it is great.  I prefer the breakfast there the best but some people are hooked on the dinners that they say are out of this world.  We are meeting for breakfast @ 9 am.  You are more then welcome to come but it would be one heck of a ride just for breakfast.  If you do decide to go then let me know and I will email the link to you.  I will be camping up that way this weekend at Spring Gulch.  Feel free to call me tonight if you have any questions.

Shebantam can't come - she emailed me
Anne and Andy are coming.  They will be meeting us there.

Raymond and I are coming, if he has to drive, well I will have a bag for my head so I do not have to look.

I had an untreated skating episode with a handicapped ramp on Monday, got to the door and could not get in (ice blocking it) and could not get traction to try to use the door to get the ice out of the way (hey it is a steel door) I started down the ramp and lost footing, never fell but twisted my back, started hurting that day, then Tues the other side started hurting (because I have shifted everything to the right side)... connot sit too long, cannot stand too long, cannot walk too long,,, may favorite positionis on my side, but that does not work well working or driving,,,

Yes I have been to the doctor, and go back tomorrow, had xrays last night just to be sure...he thinks it will be about 3 months before I am back to "normal".

Called Raymond today and talked to him and he is game...if he gets bored with our company, he will go over to the Goodes store.

And I agree with Scott.  Breakfast is the best there, as it is the best deal.  Tip is included when you pay a you come in.  There is an area for larger parties to enter on the left side.  The foyer in front is as big as most resturaunts...

Raymond and I will see you all bright and early Saturday AM.

Rick do you know where the Morganstown exit is to the PA Turnpike??? well it is about 12 miles south of that on PA 23.

tlhdoc

Rick I know that you can't make it this weekend, that is why I didn't contact you.  Scott answered your question so I don't have too.  Wish you could join us, but have fun with your plans.:)

Why thank you Tracy...  ;)

I miss you guys and can't wait to go camping with you all again...

dademt

Well Rick we missed you but as usual, had fun talking about you never the less.  Only good of course.

Well, thank you everyone for coming to breakfast.  It was truely a blast.  Maybe we will have to do that every year.
