92 Flagstaff Axle info

Does anyone know the manufacturer of Flagstaff Pop Up Axles for this year....or where to look on the axle to find out the specs?

I'm just doing some regular mainenance and repacking the bearings. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I'm not too certain about this answer, and perhaps someone with a little more knowledge can chime in.

My guess is you have a Dexter Axle.  Call Flagstaff, ask for the parts department, and then for a tech rep.  Give them your VIN #, and they should be able to answer your question.  

While you've got them on the phone, get the p/n's (and cross-reference numbers) for your bearings and seals, too!

Your 92 is a "Flagstaff by Cobra".  Forest River purchased them in 96 but not the manufacturing. So they are listed as Orphaned. Forest River may or may not have the info on your trailer.

Most likely the axle is a Dexter and should have either a hanging tag or the info stamped into the axle itself where you can read it by going under the trailer.
