ABS repair kit question

I just used the ABS repair kit purchased from electricalconnections.com to repair four separate cracks on three of the corners of our Bayside.  The products appears to have adhered very well.  I scraped off some stray glue and it took off some of the white ABS from the Bayside with it.  The question I have is does anyone know if you can sand or work the cured repair?  I used masking tape to minimize the joints but there are still some jagged edges and lumpy sections.  I definitely do not want to weaken the joint.  I did drill out the end of the cracks to prevent the cracks from growing.  If it can be worked, any suggestions for working the repair and not sanding through the existing ABS?  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

If you properly used a MEK based kit, then you actually melted the original ABS with the new filler at the repair joint.  The repair is just as strong as the surrounding material.

If you need to clean up the repair do it all by hand.  Shave off as much lumpy plastic very carefully with an X-Acto knife, then carefully sand by hand with a folded sheet of fine wet automotive sandpaper.  Only sand the joint, not the surrounding ABS.  You can even mask off the surrounding ABS with clear packing tape while you are sanding, for extra protection.
