Thanks to the fine folks on this board, I read about then  drilled out the rivets on my stepper door to access the lock mechanism.  Turns out that one of the lock bars is bent and the lock is badly corroded and rusty.

So while I have it apart I would like to change the lock and bars, any ideas of an online parts place that would stock these things.

Coleman Niagara 1999 all the options.

I spent a long time looking on-line for the access door lock parts that I needed, then I  just called my local Coleman/Fleetwood dealer and he had them in stock.  Normally I  try to get the parts I need aftermarket, but in this case, they had exactly what I wanted. :canada:  :D

I recently bought a 96' coleman PU and didn't have a key for the lock. After searching around I found the dealer had the complete lock assembly in stock. But since I had a lock they sold me a key and it worked. I lubed the mechinism and still works fine.

Thanks all for the quick response to my question.

I kind of figured the answer would be like that, I will save my time and
take a trip to the local dealer for the parts.

Thanks again.

By the way, I only had to drill out three rivets on the front face of the
door, someone had been there before me (I am third owner)
and drilled out all the side rivets.  GO figure, something acutally went right on this repair!!
