Rodanthe Watersports and Campground

We are heading down to the outerbanks the week of May 12th. Has anyone ever stayed at Rodanthe Watersports and Campground? If so what did you  think of your stay?

I have been by rodanthe watersports and campground many times, but have never stayed there. from the road it seems kind of small and wide open, meaning lots of sun and wind. we usually go on down to buxton and stay at Cape Woods campground or go to frisco and stay at Frisco Woods, both are excellent places. Frisco Woods is on the sound side of the island and has sites right on the water, which works out great for the kids, they can go out and play all day and the water is only knee deep. Cape Woods is in the middle of the island it has a little canal around it and a nice swimming pool for the kids the whole campground is wooded and very nice.
