Is a slide out worth the money?

We used to have a 28' TT.  With the slide extended on the Bayside, we have an easier time moving around the galley than we did in the galley of the TT.  For two people it's probably not worth it.  I wanted it because I thought with the two kids we had it would really help out.  When the two kids turned into three, I was really glad I got the slide out.  Like Austin, our slide has been opened and closed at least a hundred times in the short time we have owned it and we've never had a problem.
