The First State-Delaware.

Home of tax-free shopping.  At least that's what it says on all the "Welcome to Delaware" signs. ;)

I am from the Great State of North Carolina.  Also known as the "old north state"  We have the most diverse camping that I know of.  Come on down here and take a vacation, spend some money, and experience the South.  When you're done with the vacation, go home.

And don't leave anything other than your foot prints and your money.....

Do you support a National Park for Ft. Monroe?

I've written a lot of emails to both my congressmen and to your governor in support of Fort Monroe National Park.

That would make a nice little area over there that is for sure..  would be a shame to see it go unused or used for development of an already over developed area.

I think they have to 'clean it up' before they turn it over to the City.  Gotta get all the military mission stuff out.  Apparently, and I am not educated on it, it costs a lot of money to clean it up?

In short, yes, that would be a prime area to preserve, VERY NICE.

Development is exactly what the City of Hampton and the governor of Virginia seem to be determined to do...
