Has anyone replaced their faucets at all? I've got a 2002 Aero/Dutchmen with a handpump and city hookup. My galley folds over and really what I want is to replace the faucet with something that I can open up to run constantly when washing hands or whatever, and that will also clear when I fold the galley over. I hate trying to wash my hands and hold down the lever at the same time, Only way it works tho. I never camp without hookups so I could care less about the handpump, but I do intend on saving the old one for when I decide to sell.  Any ideas? I'd love to hear what you guys have done and pics would be even better. Thanks in advance.

I replaced my hand pump faucet with a wet bar type faucet. You will also have to add a water pump as well. It's an easy task if you are mechanically inclined. The hardest part is the wiring of the water pump. I ran mine through a switch so I could totally shut it off during travel. Search for instructions on this site as well as other pop-up sites and it is alot easier. Good Luck.

I replaced ours with the same kind as Lime Jeeeep. I bought it at Home Depot.Moose

Thanks, those are some pretty good ideas in addition to what I've been able to research and find. I had kinda been thinkin along limejeeps lines and maybe replacing the counter top.  I really don't want or need to add a water pump because I leave the pup parked in a campground all the time and if I did wanna take it on a trip, it'd be another campground with hookups, so I wouldn't wanna do that I don't think. I'm gonna go by the dealership Sat and see what they've got and then decide from there what to do.

i like to add that ,i used 3/4 plywood and applied bar top epoxy for all level surfaces in the pop up i sold.also about the faucet the right side was for campsite provided water and the left was for onboard water to be installed later

Hi Lime,

We love the counter tops.
I did change the faucet plumbing, We figured we weren't going to camp without hookups anyway, so I "Y"ed the tubing to both faucets. Now we have cold water on both sides. Taking it out to Lake manitee next weekend. I'll post pics.
BTW just finished putting in AC.

Thanks for all the ideas guys, I just went ahead and got another handpump faucet, but different that what I already had. White plastic with the handle being pushed down and locked into place water runs constantly. 46 bucks at the dealership and took me maybe 20 mins to replace.
