Newport News Park

Just wondering if anybody has been to the NN Park with a PUP.  My DW and I just bought a 1996 Coachmen Clipper 1080 and would like to try this park out for our first trip.  Wanted to know if anybody had either good or bad experiences.

I don't know if you already went or not...if you did, we were there too! We just went to NN campground with our new pup and 3 kids. We really loved the campground! Large wooded sites, cement pad for the camper, great hiking trails, great security, it looked like the water sports and biking were fun although we didn't participate and it was just great! We even had that huge storm Friday night and our site was fine as far as no flooding. I will say 2 things though, the bathrooms were a little rough for me and the ticks are bad.

Thanks for the reply.  The wife and I drove through them sunday afternoon.  Were gonna try them out this saturday and sunday night.  She's due on June 27th so wanted a trip that she could leave me in the middle of the night if she felt like it.
