Genesee Country Campground

Hi, we are headed up to NY for a family reunion of sorts and decided we would stay at a campground near where we will be going. Any reviews on the Genesee Country Campground?

I used to live nearby and have visited that park often.  They have lots of trails, reunion pavilions, playground equipment and a "youth camp area."
Though some googling is showing a camping area.

Either way it is a beautiful park and a beautiful area.

Gotcha, I still know the area, but not the campground.  But the area is beautiful and I would think the campground would be a good one.  There are two places nearby that I would strongly encourage a trip to.

1.  Letchworth State Park - called the Grand Canyon of the East.  Beautiful park, lots of native history.

2.  Genesee Country Museum in Mumford, which is only a mile away from your campground.

Thanks! That is really funny...those are exactly the 2 places we plan to visit. My husband is from Rochester so he has been to both...just not to that campground. Thanks again for the reply!
