Camping in the wind

So this weekend we are going to the coast.  Just wondering what to expect with the wind and all.  I'm sure the PU is pretty stable with all the stabilizers down.  But I wonder if I'm gonna feel like I'm on a boat with the sails up.?

Yes, the bunk ends do tend to act as sails.  By that I mean they will sway in the wind, not tip the PUP over or anything like that.  Do not leave your awning out if you expect winds that are gusty.  The second you turn your back, a gust will either rip it off the PUP or flip it over and bend something that shouldn't be bent.  Like you said, they are stable in wind, but that doesn't mean they don't respond to the wind.  If we are talking a coastal breeze then don't sweat it, open the windows and enjoy it!
