Anybody ever stay there before? We have reservations for Mem. Day Weekend and not too sure about the mixed reviews. Woodall's gives it 3 out of 5 W's(average), Trailerlife Directory gives it 8/8.5/7 out of 10/10/10(quite good actually), and rvparkreviews.com had 4 reviews- 2 terrible and 2 so so. Most places are booked solid by now so we are going one way or another. Wish me luck!

Well, we made it back from our 4 day weekend and I must say Pinch Pond wasn't bad. They had alot of activities all weekend and a nice size pond that they stocked with 250 trout. My son caught a 14" albino rainbow trout( he was very excited, I was very proud!). The place seemed well maintained, nice pool, lots of wooded sites although some were a little narrow. Not too far from Hershey Park and Amish country. It is right next to the PA Turnpike, but you barely hear it apart from a passing Semi every now and again. The only problem we had was with the people camping there ( it was Memorial day weekend so alot of people who don't normally camp were there- being rude i.e. being noisy after quiet time, walking through campsites etc.). I was talking to another family who goes there alot and the said usually it is not like that. Most left on Mon., we stayed till Tues.
After everyone left it was very nice.

I've tented their several times while I was attending the Renaissance Festival, but was never impressed with the place to be honest with you. Seemed kind of run down and neglected to me.

It looks like they just did a bunch of renovations. I was talking to one of the owners and they moved a couple of cabins, improved at least 10 sites with fresh soil and crushed stone and had replaced a bunch of leaky water lines. The office/store, the game room and laundry room all looked like they had been recently updated too. I have been to far worse places than this.
