Kintla Lake, Glacier NP.
I wish I could figure out how to insert the image in the post.

Thanks, that was last August.  I've been going there for almost 30 years and just can't get tired of that view.  Not to mention the fishing, hiking, kayaking...
I'm going back there again the last week in August for two weeks ( I know, the limit is 7 consecutive days but it helps to know the ranger!) then to Yellowstone for another week.  I just hope that my yet to be installed solar system will do the trick.

JimS: good for you. It sounds like a great trip. I need to make more time for that type of thing.

About your solar panels; I don't have any, but, I know that most posts on the subject, at this site, say they aren't all that effective. However, I also belong to a Sportsmobile group, that group has the exact opposite experience on the subject. You might check out what that group has to say about solar panels.

Like I say, I don't have them, so I can't give you any first hand info

I just bought this 2006 Fleetwood Cobalt around the beginning of November. We took it out to Clarence Fahnestock State Park in Carmel NY the weekend of the 17th. With temps in the 20s and 30s, I couldn't believe how warm and toasty we were the whole weekend.  I'm planning to add many MODS to it this winter while I dream of the best camping summer ever! Come on April!

We like to camp when my son and I attend a NASCAR race.  Here are thre pictures from our trip to Martinsville VA for this October's Subway 500.  Race camping is dry camping if we stay at the tract or in a yard near the tract, like we did here.

Now this would be a great trip!

Load up family and dogs in the Power Wagon, and hook up the PU.

Hit the long trail to camp thru the dry low lands.

And finally make it to the upper elevations.  Continued...

Where the vegatation gets lusher, and the trail tighter.

Finally, camp set up, and time to do some hiking with the dogs.

Now, like I said.  This would be a great trip.  But these pictures were actually taken on 3 different trips.  One 4WD and camping trip to Moab, Utah, and two different camping trips in our home state of Colorado.
